MARTYRD To Release 'Maniac' CD Next Week

Queens, New York-based metallers MARTYRD will release their debut CD, "Maniac", on June 11. A CD-release concert has been scheduled for that same day at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City where the band will be opening for the "In Thrash WE Trust" tour featuring DEATH ANGEL and GOD FORBID.

Known for its blend of "old-school thrash with a new-school edge," MARTYRD has created a heavy metal album that "wears its influences proudly (EXODUS, IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and MEGADETH)," according to a press release.
